1- I am a married woman! I have officially begun my happily ever after!! Yep, we did it, Vegas style at the little white wedding chapel in Las Vegas, Nevada! Elvis was even in attendance! Along with thirty three or so of our closest friends and family. Our kids. My parents. All my brothers, their wives, and kiddo's. My favorite aunt. My bestest cousin from Georgia and her girls and hubby. Troy's Dad and Uncle. Troy's best friends. What an amazing experience it was!! We've never felt so loved! Thank you all who came! To be in one of our favorite cities and with so many loved one supporting us was nothing short of pure awesomeness! There was a limo ride. My Dad walked me down the aisle. Ring's were exchanged. My handsome man kissed me tenderly to the hoots and hollers of our loved ones. We were pronounced man and wife.
And did I mention, Elvis was there??
2-I am no longer in the Indie writer's club. I'm a signed author! On November 11th- and no I don't feel it's bad luck at all, in fact I feel its great to have done something positive on that day- I signed with the great Lavish Publishing LLC I am so proud and very excited about working with them! I've loved, loved, loved everything about the experience! In fact, it's been nothing short of blissful! My book This Morning I Woke Up Dead has been revamped with a new cover, new scenes, and an extended ending! How exciting it all is! I begin an extensive book blog tour in the next few days, getting a book trailer later in the week and I am eager to see what very magical things happen next! I plan to stay in touch with all the wonderful indie author's friends, bloggers, and fans I've met. In fact I still consider myself to be part of the super supportive Indie family! Thank you all so much!
3-I am in the eco-friendly drivers club! My babe traded in his beloved Toyota Tundra for a Honda CRV. Now let me explain why this is beyond cool and why I am so very ecstatic; I've been crushing on the CRV for four years. Yes, four years. When my babe took a new job two hours from our home in east idaho, he thought it would be best to trade in the gas guzzler for something with great miles per gallon. And I thought it was fantastic to be a proud owner of my dream car! We drove it to Vegas and were quite pleased with the experience. Thank you honey for making yet another one of my dreams coming true!
4- My laptop who was recently under the weather and hung in for years after I expected has passed on to a better place. Sad but true. On November 9th she wouldn't boot up. She would no longer charge. We had good times together. We wrote three and half novels together. Thousands of emails. Hundreds of Facebook updates. Handfuls of blog posts. Surfed the web for countless hours. And also traveled all over California, Nevada, Washington, Oregon, Arizona, Wyoming, and Utah numerous times together. How am I able to write?? A writer must write. Everyone knows this. Well, my very generous sixteen year old daughter has so graciously loaned me her beloved laptop until I get a new one. This has totally kept me from stressing out beyond belief!
Love you, Ashtyn!! Thank you, thank you, thank you!
5- We have a duel residency. We have a home in Idaho and one in Utah as well. Crazy, huh? Crazy but it's our life. And I love our life.
Why two residencies you ask?
Is it so we can ski in the most amazing mountains that are in Utah?
Um, yeah, but not really exactly.
Is it because we love that Idaho has the lottery and plan to win the Powerball one day?
This is also true but it's not our main concern.
Is it because we can't seem to sit to stilI?
Again, this is also true. Troy and I love to travel but that's not why we live in two residencies.
Is because you have family in both places?
Bingo!!
As I mentioned earlier, my hubby who works in medical sales, took a job two hours north. It was the closest place he was able to find work with his mad skills and expertise. And in order to be a part of our four kids lives as much as possible, who are in school in Idaho, we live in two places. Depending on the week is where I am at.
True love has once again has found a way.
Thanks for stopping by and I hope you have a beautiful evening!
